Taylor Ramsey is a multidisciplinary studio artist known for her mixed media watercolor paintings. 

She is currently an MFA candidate at MICA and is a BFA graduate from Sam Houston State University, where she majored in Studio Art.

Ramsey describes her work as narrative paintings contextualized against the architectural backdrops that hold outsized cultural significance in the Black American oral tradition. These works are a culmination of staple Black American Pop Culture imagery, primarily melanated figures, vibrant colors, pattern making, and haute couture fashion.

Ramsey was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and currently resides in Washington D.C.
